SURGERY NUMBER FIVE!!!

Is now behind me. Yippeee!!!
Doctor did some more work on my right ankle, hopefully to lessen the pain.
shaved some bone from one side and took a screw out from the other (the thing looks like a deck screw I swear!!)
Anyhow...I've been spending a lot of time on the couch knitting and crochet-ing
next weekend marks the official start of rehearsals for NJ Ren-Fair 2011. I'm kind of limited to
what I can do still, because of all the stitches in my foot but I will make an appearance. Stitches come out
a week from today (i hope).

In other news, I bought a sewing machine... busy doing stuff with that
and... some art journaling that some day I hope to have pictures up
so.. thanks for reading /following (there are only four of you after all) but I don't blame you since
its been almost a year since i wrote anything.
I have been busy doing other things though, perhaps the blogging bug is back.

Tempest Fugiting.... and some ramblings

So time really does fly... I guess when you spend two weeks reconnecting with someone from your past....meeting a new friend...finding yourself....rediscovering your spirit.... laughing....crying....realizing.... and finally letting go of things that no longer serve you.    Doctors appointments, lawyer meetings, therapy, medication changes (again).... shoes on both feet.... learning how to walk again....

I've spent so much time trying to FIND something, searching, looking, waiting, wondering, wandering and the whole time it was right here just waiting for me to realize ?   I dont know.... I'm still wondering but not searching.   All of the peices are finally falling into place, I am feeling whole, re-born, re-discovered.

A near death experience and life altering injuries, permanent disability etc. Really had to back up and regroup. THIS is my reality now. THIS is how the rest of my life is going to be. Deal with it.   The only other option is to roll over and give up.   NOT GONNA HAPPEN. Not me, I've worked to hard to get where I am, I'm not stopping now.

Thanks for listening to the rambling.... just needed to get this out of my head. Was going to save it in a draft but then I would chicken out and never publish it. So, thanks for reading if you managed to get this far.

Or as my grandmother says Tempest is Fugiting all over the place. I got an unexpected (but welcome) call from my cousin yesterday. She had free passes to see The Lovely Bones. I had read the book some time ago (written by Alice Sebold) and have been wanting to see the movie. Being on a limited budget a free movie day sounded good to me!! I highly recommend seeing the movie, it was very very well done.... and THEN after, read the book. If you read first, watch later, you will be left with lots of (hey wait, that wasn't in the book). Happens all the time. Either way it was a very well done movie, the cinematography was excellent and the "in between" reminded me of What Dreams May Come (with Robin Williams).

I'm still contemplating writing a post about my piercing(s) experience. For now, I will leave you with a picture...

See the little heart in the inside of my ear? That's the newest ear piercing. Called a Daith piercing. So yea, that's it for now. Happy hump day all!!

All my days seem to run together lately... a lot is going on in my world. Some I can talk about, some I can't, and some I just plain don't want to. *sigh* I had a house guest all week and really enjoyed having someone here in the house with me. Now, I am trying VERY hard not to notice how quiet it is here when there is no one around but me and the pups. Music is on...journal is out...lists are made (want to do, not need to do)

So far today I've danced (as well as my broken body is able), listened to music ( I am so grateful my hearing is intact) and I have spent the remainder of my amazon gift card from Christmas on a new book and a movie. I will not get either until the end of January, as Super Shipper Savings will group the two together and the movie (Saw 6) doesn't come out until the 26Th of the month. It will give me something to look forward to, and an unexpected surprise in the mail, as I will have forgotten by then that I ordered them.

I have so much I want to do and in the end I just end up sitting and doing nothing. I'm not sure what that is about or why exactly, but hopefully writing it down will help get it out of my brain and somewhere else so it all stops swirling around. So I guess for now, that's it. Hope you all have a great week.

It's been a while since I've written
I can't even begin to go into details about whats going on with me.

The short version:

I sprained my already injured ankle (like severe sprain)
I found out yesterday I lost my job
I will no longer have health insurance by months end
I was denied disability for a bunch of dumb reasons (yes I'm appealing)

So, here I sit. Very scared, alone, lonely and just kind of wondering
HTF I got where I am. I'm allowing myself a few days to wallow and mourn
and then I will pick myself up by my bootstraps and continue on like always.

Its time for me to start writing again, doing some art in the studio and perhaps
get some books and Cd's up on amazon to generate some income. If you've gotten this far
thanks for reading. I'm also trying to reach out and get out of my own head, hopefully blogging will help.

Hi all!

Just wanted to stop in, say hello. This time I have a really good reason for not posting on my blog. Seriously? I almost died.

August 1 I was involved in a near fatal car accident. Without too much detail I broke my left leg and my right ankle was twisted nearly off. Doctors managed to save my right foot and put a titanium rod in my left leg and I'm just starting to re-learn how to walk again.

So thats where I've been. I've become more mobile in the past few months, and more able to sit for longer periods of time. I don't know what this will mean for my blogging, but I figured I would stop in to say hello.

had an ab fab time yesterday! The weather was amazing, the moon and sun were out at the same time. 80 degrees, sunshine, GREAT company and shopping, who could ask for more.

Turns out to be a wonderful thing, yesterday was like a monsoon outside, today we are expecting a high of 70 degrees and not a drop of rain! YIPPEE

I am going to head up to New Hope PA with a friend of mine to spend the day wandering around.

Well, get used to it people. Apparently life gets the best of me and I forget that I have a blog.

I seemed to have lost my inspiration... well not lost, just transplanted.

So , I'm back from my trip to Minnesota and sorry I've not posted pictures yet. I'll be heading off to North Conway NH Saturday for a week away in the mountains... and then back to work for a few days only to head back to Minnesota for a long weekend...

and then... I work October 9 to October 26 with NO days off (hopefully I'll survive) and perhaps during those long gruelling hours I can find SOMETHING interesting to post about... (no pictures from the work computer though) and at least tell you about my vacations
even if i don't manage to get pictures. I know, useless without pictures.... eh
get over it. I'll add the pictures later.

So, that's that. not much else going on in my world... blog worthy anyway.

Yes folks, a picture. Not PICTURES OF THE TRIP, but a picture.

I cooked this morning, and was so proud of myself I took a picture of my breakfast.

Trust me when I tell you this is an amazing occurrence, considering I'm lucky if I even eat breakfast. Often think about it...or what I could make, and by the time I get done thinking about it its lunchtime.

So there you have it. My breakfast....

An omelet made with bacon/cheddar/chives topped with fresh chives from my herb garden. Two slices of leftover french bread, toasted. Grapes and raspberries. And a glass of orange mango juice.

Hi all

Been crazy busy, working 65 plus hours a week.
My skirt wearing is in direct correlation with wearing skirts I swear.
I've even purchased a few more. (when did this become a habit)

I hate to admit, they are quite comfortable... and cooler than pants. (duh)

So I stopped in to say goodbye for a while... I'm leaving Friday ... NOT on a jet plane this time, but driving out to Minnesota, my old stomping ground.

Looking forward to spending some time with my family and TONI!!!!! (I cannot wait to see you)

So, I'll be back on the 22ND with pictures and stories.... that might actually make it to this blog!

when Hell freezes

Seriously, It is

WHY? you ask .... do I say that hell is freezing (frozen over?)

because I am wearing a skirt today.

and I'm going to work.

The work thing, well I work a lot, sometimes 14 days in a row with one day off... twice in one month. (July I only have 5 days off the entire month I'm tired, but halfway through)

Anyhow, hell has froze over not due to me going to work... but
because I am going to wear a skirt out in public.

mark it on the calander folks... I may be another 10 years before this happens again.
We will just have to see. I'll be sure to report every ones reaction. *No I will not allow photographs of this momentous occasion*

Has it really been two weeks?

Yes, I guess it has. See what happens when you get a round to it?

I've been so busy with my life that I needed a gentle reminder yesterday that there are some of you out there who anxiously await a new blog from me (more than once every two weeks)

I just happen to have taken pictures of one of our garden friends yesterday morning.

In my last post I had a photo of a small grayish/greenish baby? praying mantis. Remember it?

Well the dog, in all of his cuteness had to go outside for his morning business. This is the dog, his name is Teeko. Isn't he cute?

So while the dog is running around in the yard protecting us from everything that might have walked past in the night I glance over to my left and see some grass stuck on the grill. I have to admit I squealed a bit when the grass moved as I got closer to it. Turns out, the mantis has grown and gotten its bright green color. I'm going to pretend it is one of the locals from 'round the other side of the house, same guy I took pictures of two weeks ago... yes? humor me. I'd like to think the neighbors are happy with us.

And I've watched so many episodes of CSI I know how important it is to include something in a photo so you have an idea of its actual size. Scale? I believe its called. I didn't happen to have a dollar bill handy, but I did have a bottle cap. So there you go. You can see that it really is just a tiny little thing, but way cool in all its perfect smallness.

I will gladly take suggestions for a name for this neighbor of mine. I plan on keeping an eye out and snapping pictures if he happens to hang around for the summer.

That I've gotten a roundtoit. I've been pretty busy doing stuff.
More recently, spending time in the garden and getting my seedlings that

are now finally grown up... out into the big old world. (the side flowerbed of the yard really)

The tomato plants were getting too big for their pots and were also tall enough for the cat

to think they were quite fun to bat around. Before they died I figured I should get them outside where hopefully, they will grow.

I've also managed to keep a few herbs away from the cat. I think I will just leave these inside, It doesn't look like they will get much bigger.

And while trimming the forsythia bush back a bit, I noticed some movement... before I screamed ( I hate spiders, and its ALWAYS a spider) I realized

that it wasnt a spider this time, in fact, it appeared to be a pair of baby praying mantis (manti?)

I couldnt only find one of them after I ran inside to grab the camera.

At least, it sure looks like a praying mantis, although I have never seen one this small before. It was probably no more than 2 inches long. I thought it was pretty cool that we had baby mantises? what is the plural for that anyway....

I try to do what I like... writing, making jewelry, drawing...

Like what I do seems to be the bigger issue here. Fear is keeping me from my studio. Part of this stretchy feeling that I am experiencing is my energy expanding and stretching my insides. And then UN-stretching *after the growth everything stops stretching but it doesnt really go back the way it was*( Is that even a word?) is leaving all of this space inside. I don't want the space that has been created to fill up with MORE fear and therefore, I am trying to fill it up with creative ideas, thoughts, energy and self love.

So I've been working hard on not caring so much about what others think of me, or what I do. About not taking on other peoples "stuff" . ( I still do it, but not as often and I'm more aware of it). I need to just jump... leap into my creative self and just get it out there. (like writing this blog, seriously I talk myself out of posting stuff ALL the time.)

There is always a reason not to, something always comes up. I'll blog, write, journal, create, paint, draw (insert your own here) when I get around to it. Its always when I get around to it.

No more excuses. I have a solution to my "I'll get around to it" problem.

I stopped worrying what people would think of me for making crazy blog posts filled with pictures that only I care about. But I remember that, after all this blog really is about me , isn't it? and I'd snap a few pictures with my cell phone and see what kind of pictures I can get.

and in a sudden fit of creativity....

I made some art from crap in my desk...I made a "round to it". One big one for me

and several small ones for friends. No more excuses... here's your "round to it"

Thanks for being patient with me. After not posting for so long I didn’t want to scare you all off with an extra long post that you might have gotten tired reading through. So back to my “shifting” shall we…

As I was saying, Toni pulled a power thought card on the evening of May 16th…

“The Ocean of life is lavish with its abundance. All my needs and desires are met before I even ask. My good comes from everywhere and everyone and everything.”

The next day (May 17th) I sat down in the morning with my coffee and opened my email to find a gem of a post from The Daily Om horoscope.The topic for the day was UNDERSTANDING ABUNDANCE. *enter twilight zone music* This is what it had to say.
“You may look about you and see many reasons to feel grateful today. The success you have achieved in a professional arena and your personal triumphs can both contribute to a growing sense of satisfaction that leaves you feeling eager to pay tribute to the universe that has blessed your life so completely. As you contemplate different ways of articulating your gratitude, you will likely discover that you have a new found appreciation for the relative level of your prosperity. You may be suddenly struck today by the fact that you have earned and acquired so much during this lifetime, and this fact can take you down a diverse range of emotional paths.
When we articulate the gratitude we feel for the blessing s we have received throughout our lives, our perception of those blessings becomes more refined and we gain a better understanding of our own relative abundance. It is easy to accept the erroneous belief that we are somehow deprived when we compare ourselves to others instead of considering our prosperity as a standalone entity. I wrote in my journal that day , reflections on abundance. I am really making a conscious effort to be AWARE of the multitude of abundance that I am immersed in, surrounded by.

And Thomas Merton said “We must be true inside, true to ourselves, before we can know a truth that is outside us. But we make ourselves true inside by manifesting the truth as we see it.”

Always, I really do always have enough. My bills are paid, I have a new truck, a new laptop, a full time job with benefits, wonderful friends, a beautiful girlfriend, my health, a roof over my head, food to eat, running water, clothes to wear… I could go on and on and list 100 things. I have already done that, in my personal journal. But I challenge you, reader to write down a list of 100 things that YOU are grateful for. You won’t be sorry.

I have had a blog post stewing in my creative being for several l weeks now. I’ve mentioned it in the previous post and I’ve been asked, told, prodded and practically begged to get it written down. So here I sit, anxious at the keyboard, wondering if I can form the words that have been stirring in my being.
Feelings, ideas, thoughts spinning and swirling in the soup of my soul…

May 16 was the new moon. And on the new moon is when you can write new moon checks , or abundance checks. There is a link here that will explains the what, where, why, and how of the entire process. I have a feeling this blog post is going to be abundantly long, so I’ll let you all research the idea yourself. J
Life is full of syncronicities, and as I’m writing about abundance I’ll tell you that I started reading Pronoia is the antidote to Paranoia: How the Whole world is conspiring to shower you with blessings by Rob Brezsny on May 15th. For any of you who own the book you’ll understand when I say this is what I wrote in response to the introduction page. For any of you who DON’T own the book, you’ll have to borrow a copy or buy it yourself to understand part of what I have written here.

I am learning to listen to my inner self. I am learning not to take on others “stuff”. I am wildly creative and stunningly beautiful ALL of the time. Beauty comes from within. I will learn to accept abundance in all its forms. I am blessed in all aspects of my life. I would love to have a successful jewelry business in the next 20 years and Angelina Jolie would be divine naked. I am not sure of a time where I recall being most dangerously alive.

I wrote this on May 15th and now on May 16th I write my abundance check. Across the top of the check I make sure to write I accept abundance in all its forms. I really want to work on being grateful for all that I have in my life. I want to appreciate all of the things in my life that I have, that I take for granted. I want to not WANT all of the time. Its difficult to change your focus from the great list of “wants” , to the great list of “haves”. To shift (that’s the word, SHIFTING) anyway, to shift your thinking into appreciating the haves instead of worrying about the have nots. I thought a lot about this shift in thinking, a real process, a real thing that you have to be aware of, really aware of. I amazed myself just in 12 hours all of the changing in thinking that I needed to do in order to become more appreciating and less worrying. I spoke to Toni that night on the phone and she asked if I’d like a card pulled from the Power Thought deck by Louise Hay and this is the card she pulled...

Now that American Idol and Survivor are officially over...
... whats next?

Honestly, probably more reality TV. Pirates and Hell's Kitchen.

Although Pirates looks like a cheap knock off from survivor, at least it
serve to be mildly entertaining until I get annoyed with it.

As for Hell's Kitchen, its starting its third season. Gordon Ramsey is
certifiable, but he gets the job done.

As for me, I've been pretty busy doing lots of stuff. I have an important
blog started in my written journal, I am just not sure when I'm going to
post it yet. Thanks for being patient with me.

Curious is all, how many of you have issue with today's date. Not necessarily a bad issue.
But is Friday the 13Th a day of significance? Some people are afraid of it, some people think its good luck, and some people are just glad its Friday again.

I'm not entirely sure which category I fall into. A bit on the superstitious side I think.. perhaps. I will not get my hair cut on Friday the 13Th and I tend not to go anywhere new. ( I think that's just more a fear of getting lost and today is just as good of an excuse as any not to go somewhere that I might get lost going to)

Hi everyone

I just spent the last 20 minutes trying to reconfigure my blog
for some reason all of the stuff that is supposed to be on the left side of the screen
is at the bottom of the screen on the main page of the blog
dont know if its just me, or if its everyone

well then my name gets split into two parts and looks very strange

its buggin the hell out of me, and I dont know what to do about it

Not an ordinary sunrise...

Time really has been getting away from me recently. I keep meaning to blog and then I don't. It's all about being absent. A few weeks ago I had a friend over for dinner. Three of us (my girlfriend, myself , and my friend) sat at the dining room table over empty plates and sat and talked. No rushing around to GO somewhere else, no needing to BE anywhere. We just were present in the moment. Talking about everything and nothing at the same time. We all had a-ha kind of moments at the same time when we realized that we really were all just enjoying the now... and it was a wonderful feeling.

Too often I find myself lost...absent if you will. It is so easy to be absent in your own life for whatever reason. Me, I worry, I fret, I try to control the uncontrollable... and in that lose the now.

Which brings me to my sunrise. The one this morning.
I work second shift. 2pm to 10 pm. Tuesday to Saturday. I cannot even tell you the last time I was awake, early enough to watch a sunrise. When you have to be functioning at work until 10 at night, being up early enough to watch the sun come up, makes for REALLY long nights at work.
My girlfriend and I drove down to Baltimore Maryland yesterday afternoon to see the Indigo Girls play at a local bar at the inner harbor. We stayed at a hotel 6 blocks from the bar. We stayed out late, drank a few too many beers, caught a ride back to the hotel and managed to sleep for a few hours.
I knew I had to be at work today, I knew that I should get as much sleep as I possibly could. In spite of needing sleep, I set the alarm for 6 am and watched the sun rise from the 21st floor of the hotel. Baltimore is a beautiful place. Anywhere is beautiful in the bright red glow of the sunrise. A small knock on the door indicated room service arrived. Breakfast in the red/orange glow of the sun. Window open to the noise of the city waking up. Sleepy conversation with the love of my life over too small cups of coffee. I said "They forgot the sugar, but lets not call for any. " She said "ok" and smiled. we were there, just sitting, in the now of THAT moment, enjoying the sunrise.

It is 7 pm almost 12 hours since that sunrise. I'm exausted, I am tired and NOW I am smiling.

... I didn't wait an entire week to make a new post.
Although I'm not entirely sure what to write about in this one.
I just wanted to be sure that you all didn't think I'd forgotten about
you. *waves*

So I have come to the conclusion after trying to eat healthy
the past few days (we wont mention the late night cheeseburger last night)

So eating healthy. I am not a rabbit. I cannot survive on salad and veggies
alone. I need substance. I need meat. Doesn't have to be read meat
chicken is fine. ( don't eat pork and don't like fish , except tuna)
ya can only eat so many cans of tuna also. Once every few weeks for me.

So yea, I'm freaking starving.

...er, Wednesday for you.

I said (Jazz) that I'd be back on Tuesday and here I am!
Florida was great
the weekend FLEW by (perhaps it had something to do with the copious
amounts of Malibu bay breezes I was drinking.
For those of you who might not know whats in that drink its

Malibu (or some other coconut rum) pineapple juice and a splash of cranberry
just enough to make it a pink color.

Got home late Monday night spent my few morning hours yesterday
doing laundry. Still have two more loads and I will be all caught up with
the piles that have formed in the three days it took me to finish the laundry from
last week... its never ending. I cannot even IMAGINE what it would be like
if there were more than two of us in the house.

I did a good thing today. I got on the treadmill. And actually turned it on and WALKED on it.
(for those of you picturing me standing on the treadmill bodly going no where)

I walked for 1/2 a mile. GO ME.
I realized that all the complaining in the world about my diet and what i'm eating
wasn't going to help me lose weight. I actually
have to do something about it. Changing my diet
AND getting on the treadmill every (almost) day should help me
to shed these few extra pounds I'm carrying around with me.
I'd like my clothes to fit better. I managed to walk
almost a mile every day on the beach in Florida, no reason I can't
do the same here... makes sense. In theory at least. I wont get a sunburn on the treadmill, so thats a bonus.
I'll let you know how it goes.

2pm-10pm I'm not a breakfast person, so most days I don't eat
before i come into work. so then do I eat twice?

Fantastic idea. I don't know how many of you have ever heard a Bill Cosby skit.
OMG his chocolate cake for breakfast is hysterical. I came into work tonight and its someones birthday so there was chocolate cake and Neapolitan ice cream. (strawberry, vanilla and chocolate all in the same tub) HEAVEN! *happy dance*

So I sat here and ate a slice of cake bigger than I should have had, and a generous two scoops of ice cream. Yum. Washed it all down with a bottle of water. And lets not forget dessert. Starbursts and a piece of peppermint gum. I am quite the healthy eater tonight. HAHAHA.

Don't have much else to say tonight. Just figured I would stop by... if i let too much time pass between entries I will forget that I even have a blog.

Freaking Freaks!

Toni and I were having a conversation in email today.
She said it and I said I must make that a blog post.
So I did.

That being said, I'm all together sure that I have absolutely nothing to talk about
of any real value except to me. And of course, since I am the only reason
I am actually writing this blog in the first place,then it would stand to reason that
I could write about anything I wanted to. Or not.
Right?

Which leads me back to my original point... wait, did I even have one?
I'm not entirely sure of that either, now that I think of it.

Just stopping in quick to say hello! Hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Umm, so here is what I did.

I traveled all the way to a small podunk town in the middle of Pennsylvania to visit my mom and step dad. Bedford PA. Google it, I dare ya. Its a great little tourist trap kind of a town. Lots of historical stuff and a Church on every corner.

So, in this little town of Bedford PA opened a store called Tylers Mystic Moon
Great place, I made an appointment so I could shop on Sunday. Spent some money, got some great stuff.
Enjoyed hanging out with my mom and stepdad. Weekend always goes by very fast when I'm visiting someone.

Now I'm back and I'm at work. Bleh.

Happy Monday. Perhaps I'll be inspired to write more later in the week.

Jazz, this post is for you. I was always under the impression that puce was actually a greenish sickly color. Now I know its a reddish purple sickly color.

Puce is a color generally considered to be dark rose to brownish-purple. A few sources define "puce" simply as "dark brown" [1]. It is occasionally referred to as pinkish-purple.
English usage dates from 1787. [from the French puce, literally "flea." It is speculated that it refers to the colour of a squashed flea or the colour of a flea full of blood. Another theory is that the color name comes from the flea's droppings of digested blood, which spread out in deep red stain when water contacts them.
The color puce is usually defined with adjectives such as "dark", "deep", "intense" and even "brilliant". The color example above is a lighter tint. Something else you might not know about me.
Working in the transportation industry , I have a strange schedule.
My weekends are Sunday and Monday. So, today
for you is Saturday but for me... its FRIDAY BABY!!!

This means two things...first off, posts on this day usually will be
more incoherent than any other. (I'm guessing). And secondly it means that
you will have to go two whole entire days without a post. I can't say that I will
be logging in from home to write a post, unless something really prolific occurs.
Prolific... is that even the word I am wanting to use here?

Eh, whatever.

So , how was your day today? Me, I've been pretty tired. It was a long work week.
Saturdays are great here er, Fridays. ;) All the bosses are gone, and that means
portable DVD player and movies. So today I watched Freaky Friday (the new one with Jamie Lee Curtis) and now, I'm watching Coyote Ugly....
women dancing on the bar with pitchers of water... what could be better?

... aside from the obvious, that I could be there having a beer watching them in person
but, I digress...

2 more hours until I can go home and relax for the weekend.
Don't have any real plans. Just going to hang around and watch TV.
Take the dog to the vet, and perhaps go catch a movie Monday afternoon.

6 Weird things...

So Jazz has tagged me ( I don't know how to link the name yet, the blog address is to the left over there) <--------

I have to admit that I have an issue spelling weird. Usually comes out wired and then I change it. (I really did have to re-spell that the first time) I don't want to count that but apparently I'm not the only one with this issue. I am comforted by that.

So my list...

1. I ABSOLUTELY cannot touch frosted glass. I LOATH the way it feels. It makes me nauseous and sick and eeewww it makes my teeth hurt just thinking about it ( Think nails on a chalkboard, that feeling)

2. I can crack my knuckles, but hearing someone else do it gives me the heebie jeebies

3. I can honestly say that I have a paper and pen issue (fetish). I can't get enough. Really scary how many pens I have... and how much paper (blank journals, notebooks etc.)

4. I want to learn how to use the sewing machine. I have not yet, because I am afraid I will sew my finger(s).

5. I am very shy. I am a wallflower. Most people who know me, either online or in person, will disagree.

6. I hate tapioca pudding and cottage cheese. I don't like the texture. its gross. very gross... eeewww ick.

Seriously...
Because I created this blog almost 12 hours ago and I've worried all day about what to write. A blank page is quite intimidating, especially for someone who tends to READ blogs not WRITE blogs.

*insert ticking clock noise here*

...writers block on the first day certainly is not a good sign is it? If I sit here for two more hours then I have to leave work and go home. Brilliant excuse not to write eh? I only have two hours. Not enough time to write anything even remotely interesting.

I should warn you in advance that I'm not even sure where this blog is headed. It will probably just end up being rambling thoughts and ideas from my head. Perhaps some of those list things I've seen in other blogs, things that interest me, I'm probably not going to discuss politics, nor do I want to debate any serious issues. As I sit here and think more and more about why I am creating this blog, I think really its more for ME. if I sit with a journal, blank and it stays blank. I carry it around in my bag and it stays blank until I start gluing things into it, articles and things printed from the Internet and it ends up a big book filled with stuff I put in it, but not stuff I've WRITTEN in it. I'm not going to call myself a writer, because I'm not... not by a long shot. My grandfather was the writer, may he rest in peace.

I am , however, an artist. I like to create things. As the days go by, if you don't get sick of my muddled thoughts, I'm sure we will get to know each other pretty well. Or, you, will get to know me pretty well. (as far as you know)
